Although Warhammer 40k is mostly a science-fiction setting\, it adapts a number of tropes from fantasy fiction\, such as magic\, supernatural beings\, daemonic possession\, and fantasy races such as orcs and elves; “psykers” fill the role of wizards in the setting.  \nAs in other miniature wargames\, players enact battles using miniature models of warriors and fighting vehicles. The playing area is a tabletop model of a battlefield\, comprising models of buildings\, hills\, trees\, and other terrain features. Each player takes turns moving their model warriors around the battlefield and fighting their opponent’s warriors. These forces are represented by a 50-card deck containing units\, events\, and upgrades. The game is played over a series of rounds. During the action phase of each round\, you’ll play cards from your hand and use these cards to attack your opponent’s base and units. Then in the regroup phase\, you’ll draw cards\, build up your resources\, and ready your units for the next round of battle. Early in the game your leader will affect the battle passively\, but eventually they’ll join the fray as a powerful unit. \nEach base starts the game with 30 HP (hit points). If you deal enough damage to the enemy base to reduce it to 0 HP\, you win the game!

DESCRIPTION:Join us every Monday for Force of Will! \nA long long time ago\, when Gods and Demons entered into war with one another\, there was a land named Valhalla\, graced with five elements. As the fighting continue\, unceasingly\, the wars got more involved\, and eventually all the people of the land were engulfed in the battle. Soon the Demons and Gods developed ways to summon and bring back to life strong powerful souls and turn them into warriors to aid in their battle cry. New powers were bestowed\, warriors got more powerful and the battles got worse! Be read to enter the battle with the new Force of Will Trading Card Game. Harness the power of Light\, Flame\, Water\, Wind\, Darkness and Void and bring the battle to your opponent.  \nIn Force of Will\, each player is in control of a main deck of 40–60 cards composed of resonators (“creatures”)\, chants (“spells”)\, additions and regalia. Players win the game by either reducing their opponents’ life points to zero or less\, or if the opponent is unable to draw a card when required. As a resource the games uses “Will” which is usually produced by “Magic Stone” – cards who are stored in a separate pile of cards called the “Magic Stone Deck”. A special type of card is the “Ruler”/”J-Ruler”\, a special creature card in the “Ruler Zone”. The ruler can be “rested” to call a Magic Stone from the Deck or it can enter the regular field for combat by using the “Judgment” Ability. \nEvent details and format information can be found in our Facebook group. A 9:00am camp and 1:30pm camp. You may register your Master Builder in Training for whichever of the two times works best for your schedule. This will be the same camp will be offered twice a day\, at two different times. The 1:30pm camp is not a continuation of the 9:00am camp.\nDesigned for campers who have completed the 5th grade through being a freshman in high school\, this hands-on camp combines structured builds\, creative challenges\, and collaborative projects. SUMMARY:Disney Lorcana Draft Tournament [06/21/2026]
DESCRIPTION:This event will include four Lorcana booster packs to draft with and $5 store credit per person in the prize pool. \nThere are no color restrictions for your 40 card draft deck. \nFor the first pack\, each player opens the pack\, selects one card to add to their card pool\, then passes the remaining cards to their left. Then they collect the pack from their right\, select a card\, and pass the remaining cards to their left. Card selection continues in this manner until all cards from the pack have been drafted. The direction of passing reverses for each pack: the second pack is passed to the right\, the third pack is passed to the left\, and so on. Once all packs have been drafted\, each player’s picks become their completed card pool for deck construction. \nIn Casual Draft tournaments\, players may be paired against any other player in the tournament.

DESCRIPTION:Come join us for casual BattleTech every Third Sunday! \nBattleTech is a science-fiction “space opera”: a factional\, militarized universe set in the thirty-first century\, a future where humanity has spread to the stars and spawned titanic interstellar empires\, each nation controlling hundreds of worlds across a region of space stretching a thousand light years and beyond. \nAt its most basic\, BattleTech is played on a map composed of hexagonal terrain tiles. The combat units are roughly 39 foot humanoid armored combat units called BattleMechs\, powered by fusion reactors and armed with a variety of weapons. Typically\, these are represented on the game board by two-inch-tall miniature figurines that the players can paint to their own specifications.

DESCRIPTION:The Rush is on for the Toy Story 5 Pack Rush event at Red Raccoon Games! \nIntroducing Pack Rush\, a quick\, new way to play the Disney Lorcana trading card game using just a couple of booster packs! Featuring a faster pace\, Pack Rush is the perfect way to play between rounds at your local game store\, make a game out of opening a booster display at home\, or just enjoy a fresh way to play Disney Lorcana anywhere. \nTo play\, follow these setup instructions: \n1. Each player needs two unopened Disney Lorcana booster packs. These can be from the same set or a mix of your favorite sets.\n2. Determine the first player using any method that’s convenient and comfortable for you. Examples include rolling dice\, flipping a coin\, taking turns naming Disney Princesses until someone can’t\, etc.\n3. Open your booster packs. It’s best if you don’t look at the cards yet. That way the game can be a surprise for everyone.\n4. Set aside the marketing/puzzle cards. You’ll need them later.\n5. Shuffle all the cards from your two booster packs together\, again taking care not to look at them. There are no ink restrictions in Pack Rush—you can play with them all!\n6. Set your lore tracker to 0.\n7. Draw 5 cards for your starting hand. If you want to alter your hand\, you can do that now.\n8. Remember those two marketing/puzzle cards you set aside? Alakazam—they’re ink cards! Put them into your inkwell in the ready position. You start the game with 2 ink ready to go! Once these steps are completed\, the game begins. From this point on\, Pack Rush uses the normal Disney Lorcana rules with a couple of important exceptions: \n♦ The first player to reach 15 lore or more wins the game.\n♦ If you need to draw and you’ve run out of cards in your deck\, shuffle your discard and place it facedown as your new deck. For even more adventure\, try drawing your two booster packs at random from a mix of different sets—or developing your own takes on this fast-paced version of the game. When it comes to creativity in Disney Lorcana\, the sky’s the limit. Good luck\, Illumineers!

DESCRIPTION:With the purchase of this event\, you’ll be entered in an in-store pre-release event for 1 person. \nWith a sealed pre-release event\, participants will receive one pre-release kit with which to build a 40 card deck. These decks will be used to battle against other players in the event. There will be 3 rounds and pairings will be Swiss. \nSwiss pairings: In the first round\, players are paired randomly\, with one player receiving a bye if there are an odd number. In subsequent rounds\, you are paired based on your record – players with the same or similar records are paired together. \nTo participate\, participants will be asked to enter the event code into the MTG Companion app. If you don’t already have this app downloaded\, please do so for the event; your log in is the same as the one you use for Arena if you play. This allows Red Raccoon Games to continue to get pre-release support by proving to Wizards how many players we have participating at each event. \nThis event is intended for participants familiar with the basic rules of Magic the Gathering.
