DESCRIPTION:Red Raccoon Games is pleased to present our Ravensburger Puzzle Speed Challenge Puzzle Tournaments! \nThe puzzle tournaments will be either 500 pieces or 1000 pieces\, depending on what Ravensburger sends us (we’ll announce as we find out!) \nThe speed tournaments will begin at 12:00pm. \nWe are able to host 10 teams composed of four adult (16+) players for the January tournament to complete a 500 piece puzzle. DESCRIPTION:Magic Presents: Open the Archive invites players to draft Secrets of Strixhaven\, but with a twist. Mystical Archive cards—some of the most exciting pulls in each pack—can be played in any deck\, regardless of color\, opening new strategies and letting players fully enjoy every Mystical Archive card they draft. \nMTG Arena will be promoting the in-store Magic Presents: Open the Archive event and will reward players who participate in at least one of these events with a Ral Zarek avatar in the game. To receive the avatar\, players must register for the event using the same Wizards Account they use to log into MTG Arena. The avatar will be delivered to their in-game player inbox within one week of the event. \nPlayers begin each game with an emblem that states: \n    Mana of any type can be spent to cast Mystical Archive cards. \nMagic Presents: Open the Archive Emblem Card \nSpecial drafting rule: With each player’s first pick from each pack\, they also take the Mystical Archive card from that pack. \nPlayers who finish the event with a winning record (having more wins than losses) receive a blind-pack challenge coin featuring one of five Mystical Archive art designs. Collecting the coins gives players an incentive to return and play again week after week!

We are currently drafting Secrets of Strixhaven! \nPlease download the Magic the Gathering Companion app prior to the event if you don’t already have it downloaded.  \nFriday Night Magic (FNM) at Red Raccoon is a beginner-welcome format of Magic the Gathering (MTG) where players each get 3 packs of cards and draft them by opening one pack\, picking one card (drafting) from the pack\, and passing the rest of the cards from the pack to the player on your left. \nOnce there are no cards left from all 3 packs\, players then create a 40 card deck from the cards they’ve drafted. Players do not have to draft lands\, those will be given to fill out decks.

DESCRIPTION:oin us every 1st and 3rd Monday and every Friday for Warhammer 40k \nWarhammer 40k fiction is set around the turn of the 42nd millennium (about 39\,000 years in the future). Although Warhammer 40k is mostly a science-fiction setting\, it adapts a number of tropes from fantasy fiction\, such as magic\, supernatural beings\, daemonic possession\, and fantasy races such as orcs and elves; “psykers” fill the role of wizards in the setting.  \nAs in other miniature wargames\, players enact battles using miniature models of warriors and fighting vehicles. The playing area is a tabletop model of a battlefield\, comprising models of buildings\, hills\, trees\, and other terrain features. Each player takes turns moving their model warriors around the battlefield and fighting their opponent’s warriors.
