Pokemon Pitch Black Prerelease [07/12/2026]

Join us for the Prerelease of Pokemon Pitch Black

Trainers can discover new cards, including Mega Darkrai ex, which emerges from the shadows with commanding presence, and Mega Zeraora ex, which strikes back with electrifying power. The expansion also features Mega Chandelure ex and Mega Excadrill ex, each bringing dynamic strategies and powerful battles to the forefront.

Pre-Release Details: Sunday July 12th Check-In Time: 12:00 pm Event Start: 12:30 pm Estimated End Time: 5:00 pm Each player will receive a Build & Battle Box to build a deck with for the event. At the end of the event, each player will receive 3 packs for participating!

Each player will need a Pokémon PLAY! Player ID in order to participate. Parents! If your child is under the age of 14, they MUST be linked under YOUR account. They CANNOT have their own account, and will not be able to play until they are set up correctly. Create your account first, and then click Add a Child on the bottom left. You will be asked some information to verify yourself first, then you can add your children’s info, and get a separate Play! Player ID for each child.

If you don’t have one, create a Pokémon Trainer Club account at: https://club.pokemon.com/us/pokemon-trainer-club/sign-up/ Verify your email, and log in to your account. Click on Play! Pokémon Settings on the left. Select to have Pokémon Assign a Player ID (it takes a few seconds to generate) Choose if you want to participate in the Play! Pokémon programs or not and make sure you hit Submit to activate your Player ID. Bring your Player ID number with you to RRG to play in events! (If you click on My Play! Pokémon Page, you will get an option to Print Player ID Card in red)
